Consciousness Unleashed: The Transformative Power of Altered States of Consciousness

In this talk, I am going to take people on my own journey of exploring the benefits of altered states of consciousness on personal growth and wellbeing. Going from being a high-performing yet unhappy corporate employee, to spending two months deep in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest in diet with one of the indigenous tribes of the region, has opened my eyes to the infinite potential of deliberately working with altered states of consciousness. I will share some anecdotes from my time in the forest and examples of how indigenous tribes have known and made use of this concept for millenia, and how we can translate this into our modern world where the main objective seems to be to “just act normal” – much to our disadvantage!
